Registering to Vote:

The deadline to register online to vote is March 17, 2021. - www.MyVote.wi.gov.

The deadline for registering by mail to vote is (postmarked by) March 17, 2021. Complete and mail in the Voter Registration Application Form located at the bottom of this page, along with a photocopy of proof of residency.

The deadline to register in in Municipal Clerk's Office is April 2, 2021. Bring proof of residency.

You can also register and vote on Election Day, Tuesday, April 6, 2021. Bring proof of residency.

Proof of residency includes:
-
A WI Driver License/ID Card, if not expired or canceled; may be used even if driving privileges have been revoked
-
Any other official identification card or license issued by a Wisconsin governmental body or unit
-
An employee ID card with a photograph, but not a business card
-
A real property tax bill or receipt for the current year or the year preceding the date of the election
-
A residential lease (does not count as proof of residence if elector submits form by mail)
-
A picture ID from a university, college or technical college coupled with a fee receipt or an on-campus housing listing provided by the university, college or technical college
-
A utility bill for the period commencing not earlier than 90 days before the day registration is made
-
(Homeless voters only) A letter from an organization that provides services to the homeless that identifies the voter and describes the location designated as the person’s residence for voting purposes

A contract/intake document prepared by a residential care facility indicating that the occupant resides in the facility
-
A bank/credit card statement
-
A paycheck or pay stub
-
A check or other document issued by a unit of government

Ballot by Mail (absentee):

The deadline to request a ballot by mail is (received by) April 2, 2021.

Request a ballot online: https://myvote.wi.gov/en-us/ , Copy of ID must be uploaded or emailed to City Clerk.

Request a ballot over the phone, call City Hall at 920-849-2451

Request a ballot in person by visiting City Hall Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Bring valid ID.

City of Chilton allows local voters to drop ballots off in the bill drop slot at City Hall. This is available 24/7.

Voters can also return ballots in-person at City Hall, Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

When mailing back allow sufficient time to be delivered to City Hall.

Absentee ballots must be delivered to your municipal clerk by 8:00 PM, April 6, 2021.

Early Voting (In-Person Absentee)

Absentee In-Person voting is allowed by the state of Wisconsin.

The early voting period runs from March 23, 2021 - April 4, 2021, but dates and hours may vary based on where you live.
