Crafternoons

Crafternoons is a creative making program geared towards adults that love innovative and crafty projects.
Registration is required.
Projects are geared towards adult skill levels, however, children may attend with an adult helper.
An "afternoon" that brings the joys of craft to the library.
All classes start at 11 AM unless otherwise noted. Registration is required. Space is limited. Registration closes a week before the event. Crafternoon is designed for adults and middle school youth and older.
Most materials are supplied. Please see website or facebook page for details.
Due to COVID-19, the library not running its Crafternoon program. The library is offering Take and Make kits in the meantime.

Using the library subscription to Creativebug Libraries we will follow along with the Learn to Weave lesson.
Please bring a hammer if possible. There will be a limited number available at the library. Most materials are supplied.
Skills covered: how to build your own loom, how to set up the warp threads, learn the basic over-under motion of classic weaving, and create fringe, stripes, and colorful shapes. At the end of this first class, Creativebug will show how to take the weaving off the loom and turn it into a wall hanging.
