Craft Supplies Needed - Imagine Your Space Story

Younger Projects:

Paper Plate Flying Saucer Frisbees:

  • Two Paper Plates

  • Clear Packing Tape (Scotch tape can also be used, but packing tape is easier)

  • Optional Decorations: Markers, Crayons, Stickers, Etc.

Space Slug Finger Puppet :

  • Two Pipe Cleaners

  • Glue or double-sided tape (or glue dots)

  • Googly eyes

  • Small pompoms (optional)

 

Alien Eyeballs Finger Puppet:

  • One Pipe Cleaner

  • Scissors

  • Googly Eyes

  • Pompoms (optional)

  • Feathers, Yarn, etc. (optional)

 

Older Projects:

Fizzing Space Ball:

  • Baking soda

  • Paint or Food Coloring

  • Water

  • Vinegar

  • Measuring Cups

 

Space Case-Pencil Case :

  • Plastic Zip Lock Baggie (Lunch Size)

  • Duct tape

  • Scissors

 

Space Case Tablet or Laptop Sleeve :

  • Large Gallon Size Zip Lock Bag

  • Recycled Bubble Mailer Envelope (or Bubble Wrap)

  • Duct Tape

  • Scissors

Monday - Show Day!

 

We kick off the week with THE BOOK FROM OUTER SPACE. In this comedy adventure show, the kids at home must help Pixel the Librarian save the Intergalactic Library from destruction!

Our older kid craft is a fizzing “space ball” experiment/craft. They’ll also make duct tape “space cases.”
